Think Like a Rocket Scientist: Simple Strategies You Can Use to Make Giant Leaps in Work and Life by Ozan Varol

challenging informative inspiring medium-paced

5.0

His book is full of so much great content and I enjoyed the writing style.
Broken into three parts, the book outlines ways to launch, accelerate, and achieve breakthrough thinking.  The author is a real life rocket scientist turned law professor. He weaves contemporary and historical scientific anecdotes with research backed thought processes to generate new ways of thinking about every day problems.

A few key quotes:
.When it comes to creating long-lasting change, there are no  hacks or silver bullets. You’ll need to use a lot of lead bullets instead.
.Discovery comes not when something goes right but when something is awry. Not “eureka” but “that’s funny”.
.The journey cannot end once the mission is accomplished.

I don’t typically reread books, but I’m adding a special reread tag because of this one!

The free workbook download is also highly recommended and appreciated.
