The Ballad of Never After by Stephanie Garber
4.0
Very fun!
My only criticism is how slow this one got at times, it wasn't horrible because I was able to rely on the audiobooks during those positions, but I do wish that the story would have moves a little bit faster rather than repeat the same sort of issues again and again just to keep something happening.
Jacks seemed to have some good development this time around, which I liked, i always love getting a villain arc, and with Jacks it was very enjoyable.
All and all, a good middle book in the trilogy, and super fun and whimsical as the world of Caraval can only be.
4/5
