Yes, it was funny and it was a good adaptation. I found a lot of the description in the book very unnecessary and redundant almost. Very straight-forward description in the characters, not subtle. If you’re looking for subtlety, this is not for you. But other than that, I had a very good time and a lot of good laughs.
