I don't know why it took me decades to read Albert Camus. It's slightly possible that I read "The Myth of Sisyphus" in college, but I've never read anything else until now.

I'm totally blown away by how much I love "The Fall", his last novel. I listened in two days to this spectacular book read by the incomparable Eduardo Ballerini. It is a perfect pairing. I love strange books and French Theatre of the Absurd. So this short existential tome hits perfectly. No, it is not a play of any sort, but the structure is like scenes from a play. Don't look for an overarching plot. Just be in the moment while you read or listen.

I do have "The Plague", but I'm going to listen to something completely different starting tomorrow. I have a book hangover like a gin hangover that the main character might have had. I don't drink often, but it's usually gin.
