Well Met by Jen DeLuca
4.0

"I didn't choose the wench life, the wench life chose me."

When the opening line makes you chuckle, you really hope the rest of the book can live up.
Well Met definitely does.

I have no interest in renaissance fairs and only knew they are held in the woods and people talk with British accents and eat turkey legs. Well Met gives you an insider peek at what goes into organizing and executing an annual production without taking itself too seriously. I appreciated that the reader learns along with Emily and the town of Willow Creek doesn't make either of us feel like outsiders.

I really really enjoyed this book and immediately started the sequel, Well Played.
