Luminiferos: The Omen of Light by Yana Metro

5.0

LUMINIFEROS - The Omen Of Light is the first book of a new fantasy series. This book deserves all the ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ in the sky.

Lilly White , an 18 year old orphan , dreams about a parallel world where she belongs to. And somehow the parallel world turns out to be a real world that exists in the human world invisible to the naked human eye. With the help of a man woth raven wings , Lilly gets a chance to enter the spirit world inhabited by magical creatures and magical folk. However , Lilly is not warmly welcomed to the spirit world. She is so confused about her existence till she realizes her shocking real identity and the new challenges and dangers she has to confront because of them.

For a debut book of a series, the world building was amazingly meticulous. The whole time , I felt as if I was watching a movie. ( I wish I could watch a movie adaptation of this book one day ) The tension , suspicion , the romance and everything was perfectly portrayed. The antagonist of the book was an unique villain that I've ever encounted. This is a book that you would not be able to put down if you start reading it.

To be honest I don't have enough words to express how much I enjoyed this book. There was a perfect combination of adorable characters , loathsome characters and bittersweet characters. I enjoyed reading how Lilly's character grew while the plot flourished wonderfully.

If you are still pondering whether you should pick this book , YES you should
