my ideal detective story, a lead detective who isn't an alcoholic who cheats on his wife, but a reserved gay man with religious trauma. The mystery was good, I did guess part of the ending but not the entire thing. If anyone has recommendations for a good detective story without psychological elements and a good detective please let me know.
