Lynsay Sands novels are such a pleasant thing to read. There is always a lot happening, the characters are all so lovable (even though I struggle with remembering the names) and her books never fail to put a smile on my face. I started this series with book 10 oopsie. But now I’m back at it with book 4 (still not the right order Mire... yeah I know.. but you’ll have to accept that it’s the best I can do hahah). I’ll get to the first books eventually but as I joined a buddy read group of friends for this series I’ll go forward with the next ones for now!

I was so happy to discover the awesome family that is the Buchanan. I love families like that, with great banter, different personalities, lots of teasing, but also lots of care for each other. I already have favourites and I’m so looking forward to their stories.

Dougall was great and I enjoyed seeing him get jealous when his brothers were with Murine haha! Honestly, I cannot get enough of these Highlanders and their teasing. Murine was such a sweet character and turned out to be quite a courageous woman that is ready to act in every situation. If you are looking for an entertaining plot, nice romance and lots of Highlanders, this is a safe pick!
