The writing style itself is not that great if I'm honest. It's hard to understand how locations are structured a lot of times, especially in action scenes. I personally didn't like the switching perspectives approach but that might just be me. The redeeming part of this book is its humor, or rather how the main character copes through her humor. I also liked the twist about her father being the traitor but I feel like the reveal was a little rushed. The ending part where she had the head of the blacksmith hung felt very satisfying 😌
