A Big Little Life: A Memoir of a Joyful Dog by Dean Koontz

3.0

This book was good, but I can't give it the four stars I want to for one reason. The stories of the dog were amazing. They were cute, funny, entertaining, and touching. I also loved getting to know more about Dean Koontz's life and the backstory of how he developed some of his book plots. But the portions of the book where he talked about Tao's, and philosophy, and in general rambled trying to explain things that he believed bored me. I actually skipped some paragraphs because of it, and I never do that. It wasn't enough to make me tell people not to read it. It really is a good story, but it didn't exactly live up to the expectations I had in my mind.
