I am not the biggest fan of nanny storylines, but I enjoyed Lauren Blakely's books in the past so of course I gave it a go. And I have to say, this felt less there's a big difference between the two MCs, probably because she has an accounting degree and runs her own business.
I also really liked the "her parents are shit and she learns to stand up to them" storyline.
I would personally like more diversity, because there is none I can remember, either in side or main characters. Talking sexuality, gender, race, religion,... It doesn't need to be a big part of the story. I guess Sabrina's male friend could be queer, but that's only based on his glittery eyeshadow in one scene. Which shouldn't mean that he's queer. Anyways, I would just really enjoy more of that rep in hockey books because even if they are queer in their storyline they are still very "male".
