This book lacks on the essence of feminism. It wasn't able to truly clarify and though it tried; It fell short due to the rushed pacing. Moreso, its surface level definition of feminism could've been deeper if was better implemented with the dynamics of the main characters' parents. However, the romance was also the typical high school lovers often seen in other books. Personally, I liked Eliza and saw myself in her which probably attached me in a bit with this book.
