I've been wanting to read these books since I watched the show. I wish I would have read this first because I think I actually like the show better. I love the idea of the series, but the writing and even the plot are very simple. Some of the plot points and character developments are either too rushed or seem too good to be true. That being said, I'm reading this as a twenty something, and this book's target audience is definitely young adult. I think I would have loved it back in my mid/late teen era, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars.
