The Hound of the Baskervilles by Arthur Conan Doyle
3.0
Read this for a bookclub, and found it quite long-winded (which I think may just be a trait of novels from this era). I am surprised that this is the most popular Sherlock Holmes novel, because it wasn't as clever or twisty as I expected. I think the lack of Holmes for most of the book might have impacted my enjoyment, as things didn't really get started until the last few chapters.
Three stars for quality and enjoyment.
