Wit interspersed with raw honesty. Some parts were very confronting; others…I’m honestly not sure what they added to the book but they were there nonetheless, so I read them. The impetus for writing the book was to show a lot of us have this common ground but I’m not sure the message really landed. The narrative was quite meandering at times. The interviews were great, though. I’ve put another of Sofie’s books on reserve to see what else they have to say.
