Drop Shot by Harlan Coben

4.0

The second novel in Harlan Coben's Myron Bolitar series provides a good follow-up to book one, but this one was a little more predictable, in my opinion. I loved it, don't get me wrong. Coben does well to dive into the dark world of sports, privilege, race, and victim culture with respect and cognizance that seems ahead of its time, for 1996 especially.

The cherry on top is certainly Coben's ability to fuse humor into Bolitar's wise ass character.

If you love a good mystery, I HIGHLY recommend the Myron Bolitar series!
