i read this book specifically bc it's queer n also caribbean. audre is trini like meeee <3 also i love love love queenie. caribbean grannies are the best, i adore mine so much. anyways neri n audre has my heart forever n ever. my fav scene was them eating mangos at the beach n everything that followed lol. this was a really cute (then sad) read. i even lent it to my girlfriend idek if she's finished it but she better bring it back for me this summer. such a beautiful book n the epitome of caribbean upbringing n queerness. i loved it, clearly. <3
