I really wanted to like this. Disappointed it fell so short for me. It was this “I never wanted to do showbiz and my fans are annoying!” And then “I love showbiz and my fans are amazing!” Sort of back and forth that just didn’t track for me and didn’t really feel entirely necessary, and there was a LOT of sarcasm, which didn’t land well for me either because it was sometimes hard to discern if she was being authentic or sarcastic and I wasn’t sure what she meant or actually felt about things. I love Carrie Fisher, but I did not love this book.
