i know it's done in a lot of fiction but the excessive use of "the soldier" to refer to alec made me insane, like just say his name please!
maybe i should've realized deedee was teresa but i don't think i realized they were taken by wicked that young
anyway, overall not as interesting as the series itself, but maybe i'll enjoy the other prequel more? though knowing how the series ends wrt thomas, maybe not.
