*screams into the void* I was so excited to read this based on the description and I’m actually freaking out right now because I finished already and now I have to wait for book two. This book was a freaking MASTERPIECE from beginning to end. Inara and Rex are so complex and so clearly made for each other. The fact that their traumatic childhood experiences have basically woven them together is so beautiful and tragic. The way their relationship unfolded was freakin electric and the “scenes” they do together are soooo HOT but it only gets hotter when they move their relationship out of the club. Inara with her spooky psychic powers is amazing and I love how Rex is determined to know every single thing about her. I love the way she submits to him and how he wants to use it as a way to help her heal from her past. Rex is a serial deleter but I literally didn’t care at all and was like omg get over it, Inara he’s not a bad guy. This ended on a massive cliffhanger and I literally screamed “WHAT THE F*%#!” out loud when it ended. This was so unbelievably good and I am frothing at the mouth for book two.
