If you came for the romance, I need to remind you, it’s a sub plot and there's not much in the first book.
The world building is fantastic, though. All the magic tricking your mind. And my favorite part, the characters and their relationships. They’re greatly written.
“If I cannot be better than them. I will become so much worse.”
— Jude is my favorite female mc I’ve read about, that’s for sure. There’s just something I love about unhinged angry women wanting power for revenge against people who hurt them. If you don’t like Jude and call her annoying, because of being morally grey, but you love morally grey men, watch your back, because you’re in danger of me giving you a little visit.
