The Most Magnificent Thing by Ashley Spires
5.0
A little girl has a terrific idea to build something magnificent. But along the way, things do not go quite right.
Oh my goodness did I see myself in this little girl! I remember having brilliant ideas on what to build with my Legos but then getting increasingly frustrated that what was in my head wouldn’t come out in the actual blocks!
I wish I had this book as a child. It would have been nice to read a story that teaches that a walk away from the problem can provide such amazing perspective when one returns to it. Why is that lesson so hard to learn?!?
A beautiful story with an important moral.
