This was good, if a little pretentious at times. I have a complicated relationship with trans stories. They're often a minefield of triggers. I compare my own lived experience as if it's a contest for who's getting the best grade at transition, and it's just stupid and I feel bad for doing that. But anyway, this had some relatable moments and some awful, crushing moments, both related and unrelated to transness.
