*pant, pant* Man that was something to get through, but there’s a reason it is in my favorites shelf. My god, that is a great book. But (unpopular opinion) read an abridged version. The man was paid by the word, and he wrote things that were completely unnecessary to the progression of the story. My next goal is to find an abridged version that doesn’t take out too much but does leave out the extra, unneeded fluff that lined his pocket. Suggestions welcome.
