Haunted by Kelley Armstrong

5.0

It's taken me a long while to get to this book in the series. I had a bit of bias about Eve from reading the other books. That was wrong of me I know, but there it is. All I read was about how evil she was and the only good thing she did was be the mother of Savannah, ward of Jaime.
The book showed up as BOCD in the mail and it seemed a very good time to listen to it. Especially after listening to the novella a while back that featured Eve and Christoph. Both of an evil propensity, but decent-ish.
I am glad I got over my prejudices and listened to the story. It's a good one.
I love how Kelley Armstrong's Women of the Otherworld are so varied in nature and preter-nature. Accept them as they are, they don't mind.
Eve is really only perceived as evil. She just wants to be more than what she is supposed to be, more than toeing the line of being a witch. Others judged her for it.
I liked this book a lot. I hope I see more of Eve.
Definitely recommend.
