The Soulmate by Sally Hepworth

4.0

I can always count on Sally Hepworth for her specific brand of thrilling family drama that somehow manages to be both continually riveting and also… comforting? Maybe it’s because all the audiobooks are narrated by Barrie Kreinik or maybe it’s just that Australian colloquialisms are so much more charming than American ones, but I can’t help but impulsively power through every new Hepworth release way too fast and come away feeling like I just spent a wholesome day with my family, despite dark subject matter. In this book I think it’s Pippa’s daughters and family that add an element of light and joy to a book that is often dark and troubled. Love her books! Further review to come!
