I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
HEA: yes
POV: dual 1st person POV
spice: a few open-door spicy scenes
TWs: divorce, slight OW/OM drama
standalone: book 3 in the Straight Friends Fall in Love series
final thoughts: this book was a fast read that was both a romantic slowburn and fast-to-feelings.
The tropes and blurb had me so excited to read this story, but unfortunately it fell a bit flat for me. The MMCs were in their 40s but it read like high school/college age or someone who has never been in a relationship rather than 2 adults who have been in long established relationships before.
This book would be good for someone who is looking for a quick read without a lot of emotional investment- perfect for plane, train, and automobile rides.
