Otessa Moshfegh is an author I would read anything they write. I love how this novel focuses on the mundane but it isn’t boring at all. Kind of gave me vibes like what if The Bell Jar was darker, but that may be just because the protagonist was a young woman in the 1960’s.
I would definitely check trigger warnings.
