The Girl in the Ice by Robert Bryndza

2.0

I would round this book up to a 2.5.
I got this book along time ago, I think maybe when I was a teenager.
Erika foster was a very unlikeable main character. I just think that this women has been through a lot of trauma and she is somehow at work, I don't know I feel like she should also not be the lead investigator, also the amount of times that she overstepped would have been enough for me to take her off the case for good. I liked the ending of this book, that was the decent. I don't know if I would read another by this author, maybe I would just to see if it was just this book or the author as a whole. I was surprised by all of the good reviews that this book has, because this book just felt mediocre. I kept this book thinking it was going to be really good but after reading it just was not my cup of tea. I love the detective books they are my favourite to read and just so interesting. This book just wasn't that great, I do have another book like this by a different author. I don't know if I want to read that book, but I might give it to 100 pages and then see if I want to keep continuing the book. This is also his first book, I might read the second Erika Foster to see if it's a little better. I would have loved to have an audiobook of this, to see if it made the book any better.
