I enjoyed the change of setting and new characters at the shelter, but the smut was too close to noncon for me, with both of them saying they didn't want to do specific things and the other person doing it anyway. It's implied that they both want it, but the scenes of someone verbally saying 'no' repeatedly and the other person basically saying 'too bad' were too much for me.
