The Whole Golden World by Kristina Riggle

5.0

This novel tells the tale of a scandal involving an affair between a teacher and his high school student lover that rocks a small town in Western Michigan. It is written in the perspective of three unique women: the aforementioned student, her mother, and the pregnant wife of the teacher.

The writing is solid. I was sucked in to the story by the end of the first chapter, and my interest did not wane at all as I progressed. I power-read this novel.

Fans of Jodi Piccoult will likely love this; the authors have similar styles.
