This was definitely a vibe, but honestly not much happened. Read this for the cozy fantasy world, the found family, the sweet relationships, and the funny, compelling characters.
I truly enjoyed the dynamic between the MCs where he is the sensitive, self-conscious nerd who loves animals and writes poetry and she is the all-powerful badass trying to hide her soft heart behind a grumpy, evil exterior, who doesn’t know how to show affection other than viciously and possessively defending those she cares about against any real or perceived harm. And Saskia’s power and control getting Felix all hot and bothered… yes 🙂↕️
