I really loved the ending to this story, full of love, pain and adventure. I couldn’t put this book down, I really loved the duel perspective of both Iris and Roman. You get insight on both sides of the conflict.

Iris has finally made it back to Oath just in time for Dacre and his army to infiltrate the city. While trying to save Roman and the rest of her family and friends in the city, Iris is visited by the goddess Enva. She is told that she can’t face Dacre because of a vow she made when they married but she gives Iris all the tools that she will need to bring the war to an end. 

Can Iris and her friends put all the pieces together in time to stop Dacre or will the god rule over Oath forever?
