Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer

3.0

I've had a hard time making up my mind about this book about grief and connection. I love the quirky main character. He's kind of asperger-like in his devotion to his obscure interests and quests, with a very kind heart. On the other hand, I didn't enjoy the other half of the story. It was bizarre and other-worldly, but placed in a realistic novel.
