This book has one of the better plots in all the danmei novels I’ve read so far. It feels like a good, steady introduction into the wuxia genre, though with a steampunk twist. It did tend to lose my interest in the third, arc, though, and I struggled to finish it. I’m excited to see more interactions between Chang Geng and Gu Yun, though!
