*3.5

After finding the body of a man on top of his own grave, with a girl's corpse hastily buried inside the grave. Zac Evans has to work alongside his ex-wife to solve the murder and hunt down a serial killer.

This is a very thrilling book and I love that it moves at a pretty quick pace. It's very well-written and it kept me guessing the whole time. Although I didn't correctly guess the identity of the killer, it was a very exciting story to read.

The romance was...okay? I mean both Zac and Rachel were clearly not over each other, I kinda get it. But did they really have to have sex when there was a serial killer terrorizing the town??

It's a great book but I guess it just didn't really hit me as some other books do. Hence, the 3.5 stars. But I recommend this book if you're looking for a quick and gripping mystery to read! I hope you enjoy it!

*P.S I know I said I would be reading more books but December was just really busy but I'm very excited for what 2023 holds for me!
