Book Review…An Unthinkable Thing by Nicole Lundrigan

When Tommie Ware’s beloved aunt is found murdered, there is only one place left for Tommie to go: “home” to the mother who handed him over the day he was born. All is not as it seems behind the hedgerow surrounding the lavish Henneberry estate where Tommie’s mother, Esther, works as live-in housekeeper. Her employers have agreed he can stay until she sorts things out. By summer's end, the secrets and games tighten around Tommie and his mother, until a horrific crime is discovered and we are faced with an unthinkable question: could an eleven-year-old boy really have committed cold-blooded murder?

Talk about looking behind the scenes of the so-called perfect family! From start to finish this suspenseful book held my attention! There are many great twists and turns! I like the interviews and news articles between the chapters. Tommie is one of those characters you can't help but like and become invested in! As the story moves along the suspense slowly ramps up and there are plenty of suspects to point at ! It's a twisty historical thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat! Thank you Kate Rock Book Tours and Nicole Lundrigan for sharing this book with me!
