Continuing the series, this one introduces us to Bobby Draper, one bad-assed Martian marine, Chrisjen Avasarala, and Praxidike Meng. Through no fault of their own, they get caught in war between Earth and Mars where it looks like everyone is on the hunt for proto-molecule weapons. So who best to bring in than the current experts in proto-molecule, the crew of the Rocinante. The crew goes on another adventure to try and save as many people as possible, and in the meantime, things start bubbling on Venus that may or may-not be linked to the adventure.
