This novel takes an interesting approach to time travel, and I like both the science of it, the worlds introduced, as well as the fact that the main character is nobody special. However, I really dislike the treatment of women in this story.

Other reviews told it very well - they are all victimized, used and/or sexualized by men they love or trust. The downfall od Penelope and swapping her for softer, more conventional love interest Penny feels especially wrong in the general context of the story.
