White Sand, Volume 3 by Brandon Sanderson

4.0

A satisfying conclusion to this series. Some of the character arcs (like the lord admiral and his backstory) were great, but there were a few others that felt so unfinished (like Aarik — what happened to that poor guy and why did nobody address it??).

The sanderlanche didn’t go as hard as usual but it was still pretty good. And I still have so many unanswered questions about Khriss and how she has the power to do the things she did in Mistborn: Secret History. I’m not sure if there’s more stuff planned in this world and they’ll be answered later… either way.

I’m glad the art style was consistent again, and I feel like it was the best in this book out of the three. Even the fight scenes looked better, which was an issue I had with part two.

Overall still not Sanderson’s best, but a fun read nonetheless.
