Hold Still by Nina LaCour
4.0
Found this book as a sophomore but never read it. Ended up checking it out from the library two years later on a day when I didn't have any other books with me. The pace of the book felt slower than most of what I normally read, but it was still VERY relatable and incredibly well written. LaCour's ability to capture and convey the emotions that accompany loss and change felt like a breath of fresh air. The ending made me cry, so (as someone who doesn't often cry at books) the entire book has stayed with me. I'm glad I chose to read "Hold Still" after all.
