Not my favourite volume out of the series, it seems like most of the deaths in this one were either for shock value or characters that were kind of starting to get out of character anyway

. The politics seemed different from the rest of it, usually there are at least some kind of steps throughout the book to keep things making sense, but in this one none of what the other clans were doing actually felt in character for any of them. I'd say skip this one if it didn't have so many lasting effects on the rest of the series.
