Enchantée: Enchanted, often used when meeting others for the first time.

This book is stunning, it kept me up for hours and the cover is just -

Surprisingly, I got some Red Queen, Caraval and even Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir vibes because of the 18th Century French Revolution Paris backdrop with double identities and secrets between two people.

It did feel like insta-love to begin with, but I soon found myself enjoying it after a while, especially with the dazzling glitter of court, Paris, and romance.

I got a real insight to the French Revolution, and...french! Yes, there was so much french included with the dialogue proving immensely educational.

This is so underrated; I haven't the slightest clue because it deserves to be read by all you fantasy lovers out there. Books these days fail to motivate me (such as Passenger) but this successfully revived me. Hats off to Gita Trelease!
