I never actually finished this book. First off, the authors says something in one paragraph that could be cut down to about five words, which really distracts from the story. Second, I know NOTHING personality-wise about the main character, Temple, and I got through about one-fourth of the book. In all honesty, I find Temple like a blank slate. There is literally nothing to her personality. The thing that drives me nuts about the book, even above the lack of character development, is the fact there are NO quotation marks. NONE. How the hell am I supposed to tell who's talking in a conversation without them?! Considering the writing style sounds sometimes like someone is talking when there isn't. I just found it tiring and cumbersome to read, and I started to dread trying to keep reading it, so I have given up before I give myself a massive headache.
