Atonement by Ian McEwan
2.0

There were a few moments when I really enjoyed this book, and the end did provide a nice "wrapper" to the whole thing. I saw several reviews that "I hated it at first, then loved it" -- so I kept plugging along and finished it. However, I'd say, I really didn't like the first half (several different looks at childhood perspectives on events), then it grew on me. But not the book I'd recommend most highly to anyone else (at least with my tastes in books).
