Holly Black and this world never ceases to lure me in. While I figured out the main twist before the reveal, her writing style, character development, and storytelling make me fall in love every time.
I can’t wait for the next one — I’m a sucker for feminine rage.
We’ll really get to see Suren “I am the monster you made me”.
Took a star off because:
1. I guessed the main twist pretty easily
2. I don’t know how I feel about what Suren did at the end. Her trauma has such a heavy influence on both sides of the argument and I’m curious to see how it all
plays out.
