I’m definitely not a fan. It started out as a criticism of reality TV and ended up just falling into the same traps it claimed to be taking issue with. Also, I was very much not a fan of that one very transphobic chapter. Coming from a cis man, it felt like less of a serious examination on the horrors of transphobic violence and more a voyeuristic, sadistic fantasy for himself and his cis readers to indulge in.
