"Turns out I’d rather build a home with you than a thousand houses by myself."

I had built so many expectations from this book in my head right since it was announced and I was afraid of it being less than what I had imagined but this book really did not disappoint me. Lauren never fails to deliver and that's why she's one of my top favorite authors! Her writing made me fall in love with Julian & Dahlia's story! This book was quite long but never once did I feel bored, I was glued to the pages and read it in one sitting! I just felt that connection between Julian & Dahlia and they were perfect together! The things that Julian secretly did for Dahlia were so heartwarming and he was hands down the best book boyfriend! I just loved every single aspect of this book and I also liked the way Dahlia went from being heartbroken to getting her old bubbly, sassy and happy self back all because of Julian. Their competitions did not only help them feel better but bought them more close to each other, which was beautiful! Dahlia was so amazing, talented and had such a wonderful spirit and I just wanted her to heal her soul and I was so glad that Julian played a huge part in bringing her happiness back! He did push her away but all those years apart really made them realise how much they missed each other. Also, the side characters especially Julian & Dahlia's mom's were so chaptic, I just freaking loved seeing them! They were literally the best matchmakers lol!
This book was initially going to be a 4 star read for me but then I read all the extra epilogues and those Kane family appearances made me change my mind! Seriously that family is just so loveable and I couldn't help but squeal each time Cal, Cami, Alana, Declan or Iris appeared lol! Overall, this was a very enjoyable read and I'm already excited for what's to come next in this series!
