If You Give a Single Dad a Nanny by Ann Einerson

4.5

The things you need to know about me before reading my review are :
  • I don't really like small towns because everyone is always meddling in the main characters' business.
  • I don't really like books that include children, because the (inaccurate) way they're written often disturbs me.
So when I'm told 'read this small town romance about a single dad who falls in love with his daughter's nanny', you'll understand I'm a bit hesitant.
But when a book is well written, it changes everything. And here, it does. The small-town vibes are present, but without being stifling, because it's full of kindness. And yes, the FMC is a single dad, but his daughter, and the bond she and Marlow (the nanny) create, is truly sincere and adorable.
In short, a truly cuddly-soft romance with very touching characters. I can't wait to read the next book of the series.
