The Culture Code: The Secrets of Highly Successful Groups by Daniel Coyle

hopeful informative inspiring medium-paced

2.0

This book could have been so great. He really does study groups in depth and look at what makes them function. But for some reason, he only focused on groups of men, in traditionally male industries, including groups that have traditionally and actively discriminated against women, and then praised how bonded they are. I'm not sure if the author did this on purpose, or if he for some reason ignored all the copious research about how groups perform better when there are women on the teams. But it makes the book essentially worthless for women or anyone who works with women.
